21" 2030 Channel Balance Replacement

Hello,
I need to replace the channel balances on a 1980's era milguard window. The stamp on the old channel balance says 2030 and the metal portion measures 21" long. Will you be getting more of this length/option in stock? Alternatively, would the 2050 channel balance work as a replacement?

Hi Toby. Those stamps aren't identifiers. They just denote the balance's strength, and the same stamps are used by loads of different channel balances. Can you remove your old one and send us photos of the nylon attachments at both ends? That will help narrow it down.

Thanks for these photos. It looks like the nylon attachment on the bottom end is missing or broke away. Could you show us a version with that bottom attachment intact? Check the other balance from this window, or from an identical window in the house. We'll do our best to help from there.

Thanks, Toby. This looks like either an S380-21 or S385-21 Channel Balance, depending on the shoe depth. See below. Measure your old balance's shoe depth to see what matches best. For a stamp option choose 2030.
