25 year old quaker double hung wood with alum outside

Question

Hello this is a pivot shoe from my window. its broke at where it hooks onto spring. i super glued it together so you might recognize the part. i doubt if the super glue would actually work. I think this window was called the Quaker Phoenix. I have two broke pivot shoes. Ive been told you made the parts for quaker on this window. could you do some  checking around and see if maybe you have a box of old parts. if find it hard to believe nobody seems to have any idea where the parts to these window are. everything I own thats over 25 years old i can find a part for. except for this little piece of plastic.

This is a friction shoe that, as you noted, connects to naked springs within a jamb liner. The actual spring and jamb liner system is not something we provide, because they're specifically built to the dimensions of the window in question. If you needed to replace the entire system, and if it's a wood window, what we tell customers to do is to find a local mill work (yes, they still exist!). They should be able to set you up with what you need.

It sounds like you might just need shoes though, in which case it's a lot easier--we carry the 15-104 Caradco Friction Shoe. See if this matches what you need.
