25.4 KU CMC 7

Question

I was trying to fix my sash balance and while doing so the string broke.
Have posted the pictures, please advise do i need a replacement part or a new string?
It has the following numbers on it : 25.4 KU CMC 7

Hey there!

Thank you for your patience during this busy season of ours. I'm afraid you can't replace that cord so you'll need a new balance. With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-26 or S385-26 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You will also need a 2540 spring strength option for these balances.
