26C BSI Channel Balance Replacement

In need of replacement channel balances for a number of windows in the home. "26C BSI" is etched in the side of the balance. Thinking the 26" Series 795 Channel Balance (S795-26) w/ option 26C may be the correct replacement part. Looking to replace entire balance assembly (balance, shoe, clip, screws etc).

Could you please confirm?

We do not carry an exact match for your original balance, but the Series 795 can replace the full balance. To move forward, can you confirm that the T-lock shoe measures 1-1/4" wide?

Does the balance install at the top with a screw or a hook? Thank you!

T-lock shoe does measure 1-1/4" wide and the balance is secured at the top side of window frame with a small screw.

Based on the information provided, I agree that the Series 795 is the best replacement option. Your original 26C stamp should be able to support a 17 to 22 lb sash weight.

The balance comes equipped with the T-lock shoe and installation clip at the top, but we recommend reusing the original screw to install. Let me know if you have any additional questions!

Thank you. And in the event that I wanted to replace just the shoe, on some of the units where balance itself was in a better shape, would I go with the open or close cam variant?

Your original shoe uses a closed cam style. Please compare the 15-236 T-lock shoe below. Note that this shoe will only work on your original curved in bottom balance channels.

It will not be compatible with the Series 795 recommended above. We do not carry your original channels, but our Series 795 can work if you are replacing everything. Let me know if you have any additional questions!
