27" X 30" Milgard with double spring

A handy person from san francisco says:
I would like to purchase 2 sets of replacements for both sides of the window.
I can't figure out the correct weight to buy
I also can't figure out how to get the old parts out and the new ones in, Can you give directions for that?

Thanks,
Rick

Thanks for posting, Rick. This looks like our 15-191 pivot shoe. This is compatible with a couple different springs. Before I recommend anything, can you tell me if the spring is 3/8" thick or 1/2" thick? Can you also tell me how many are used on each side? Finally, what is the number printed on the spring?

As for removing the hardware, see the video below. This should help.

A quick learner from San Francisco says:
The springs are 1/2" wide. Looks like 4 springs on each side. The spring number looks like 5.5 -35#.

I added some pictures to help you out.

Thanks,

Rick

We appreciate the additional information. Our S160-5 coil springs should be what you need. If you should also need to replace the nylon housing, see our 15-150D or consideration.
