2850 BSI EN

Home Owner from Florida
I have had wonderful success purchasing hard to identify balances from you. You provide a great service.

I need to purchase balances for a large hurricane impact window in Florida. The current balance is marked "2850 BSI EN". I have been looking through your website inventory, however, get lost in knowing which of all the 29's you offer should I be ordering. I could not locate a reference on your website to the "BSI EN" marking on my current balance.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi there, Adriana, and thank you for the compliment. I am sure we can help you locate these balances as well. If you have not done so already, we will need for you to remove the balances entirely out of the window. Once you have done that, upload photos for us to see. The nylon fittings on both ends of the balance play a crucial role in identifying your balance and its replacement.

Yes they do, Adriana. Thank you. Have a look at our S380-29 channel balance. This comes assembled with a 19-005 balance top and 15-005 bottom balance shoe. Match up your nylon fittings, especially the bottom balance shoe, to confirm this will work. If everything looks good, then you can go with the 2850 option that supports a 28-32 pound sash weight.

Thank you, Manuela. That combination looks like it will match perfectly. I have placed my order, including a few extra, to keep on hand for future needs.
