I measured the balance length is 29 inch (metal channel only, does not include balance attachment). Please help to identify which parts I will buy to replace the broken one.

Hello,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-29 or S385-29 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You'll also need 2820 spring strength options for your replacement balances based on your 28B stamp.

Thank you and let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Hello Casey, thanks for your prompt reply. I measured the bottom attachment, it is 1 inch. So I will order S380-29.

Could you please let me know more detail of your suggestion of "You'll also need 2820 spring strength options for your replacement balances based on your 28B stamp" ?

Thank you!

Casey from SWISCO responded:

Sure, the 28B stamp on your balance correlates to the 2820 strength option, which means the new balances will support a window sash between 12 and 16 lbs. You can view the full conversion chart under the S380-29 balance product description.

Got it, thank you so much for your great help. I am going to place order very soon. I am checking other channel balance in same house to determine how many I should order.

Thanks again and happy Friday and a great weekend !
