28C USB part

I can match up most items but the weight stamped on number is 28C USB. Does this make sense to you? It is 29". Thanks

It looks like this is a Series 380 or Series 385 channel balance. Compare the attachments. Does that seem right? If the shape looks right, compare the size of the bottom attachment, like the photo below. You can choose a Series 380 balance if the depth of the bottom shoe is 1", but if the depth is 1-3/32", choose Series 385. The 29" version of these balances are S380-29 and S385-29 respectively. Your "28C" may be equal to our "2830" stamp option, but weighing the window is the only way to get that option (the strength of the balance) right.
