3 1/8" flared pivot bar.

A home owner from Fairfax, VA says:
I purchased 26-369 but it is the wrong size. Original part is longer and has 3 holes equally spaced. Also has number 6240 stamped on it. Length is 3 1/8 inch. First hole is 1 5/8 inches from u shaped tip. 2nd hole used is 1 1/4 inch from 1st hole (middle hole not used). All other dimensions on the original part are the same as the ones received in this shipment.

Thanks for contacting us. Sorry to hear you're having issue. I'm afraid we haven't been able to find your exact pivot bar, but you may still be able to get the 26-369 to work. First, does the tip still fit into your pivot shoe? Make sure that it does. If so, would you be able to drill a new hole in the 26-369 that matches the location of your old hole? That may work for you. Overall length doesn't matter so much, all that matters is that the hole placement is the same.
A home owner says:
Thank you for the reply. I will have to drill holes in the bottom sash as the flare end needs to sit out so far. The bar does fit the pivot shoe. But upon closer inspection it looks like that one of the pivot shoes is cracked. So I may need to order one or more. Question is how do you remove the broken pivot shoes and replace it with the new ones?

Thanks!

Well, there are a couple methods depending on your current setup. I recommend watching the videos below, these should help.

thank you for the videos on replacing the window pivot shoes. It looks like I will need 2 shoes. See attached images for clarification. I also might need a spiral spring tension tool. Please provide recommended parts to order. Thank you

It's tough to say without knowing your dimensions. Compare our 15-046 (1-1/4" width X 1/2" depth) to your measurements and see if this could work. As for the charging tool, see our 75-006.
