35 inch channel balance with the number 3440

Please let me know if you have this part or one that would work. I don't know the brand of the windows. I live in South Florida and the house
Was built in the early 90's

Hey Kurt. I am confident we can help, but that stamp code only tells us the strength of the balance. To know what kind you need, we need to see the nylon fittings or attachments on either end of the metal channel. Send us pictures of those fittings, and we'll do our best to ID what you need. We're getting there. Can you show me the nylon fitting on the other end of the metal channel as well? It looks like it might be missing from this balance, so if you could extract an undamaged balance to show us the other fitting, that would be of most help. Many thanks.

Yes, thank you. This looks either an S380-35 or S385-35. The only difference between these two channel balances is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or the 'heel-to-toe' measurement, so compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. You will need a stamp option of 3440.
