3/8" Spiral Window Balance for a Non Tilt Window

Question

The spiral window balance is installed in an older aluminum non-tilt window. The metallic cylinder length is 25' and the diameter of the cylinder is 3/8. I do not see any bracket that attaches the balance to the window panel. The plastic tip appears to be red.

Thanks for writing in! Your non-tilt spiral balance can be replaced with the S400-25. This is available in a red tip option.

It appears that your balances may connect to the bottom of the window using a bracket. To determine exactly which one you have, you'll need try removing the existing bracket from the bottom of the window. Our entire selection can be viewed here.
