40-006 In-swinging Door Bracket Installation

A handy person says:
I viewed the installation diagram on your webpage (guides/view8) for the in-swinging door bracket. I am installing a standard outward swinging storm door with the hinges on the right side, but am installing it so that it will swing inwards (opens on the left side) to an enclosed porch. If the bracket is installed on the top of the door as your diagram shows, then the door will not be able to open as the pneumatic tube closer is fixed in position on the door frame. Shouldn't the bracket be installed on the door frame? Do you have a video showing installation of this bracket?

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
The 40-006 is mounted at the top of the door on the inside top rail, specifically on the hinge side. You will want to install the closer at the top of the header of the frame. Hopefully that clears things up.
