5/16" diameter and 5-1/4" long pin.

A home owner from USA says:

Thanks for your prompt response to my issue. My pin is 5/16 inches diameter and 5 and 1/4 inches long. The hole for the cotter pin is 2 inches from one end. Nothing seems to look like my set up, can you help me? Thank

The steel pin I have is 5/16 in diameter, I see no pins with any more than 1/4" in diameter? My problem is the steel pin simply keeps falling out of its position. It falls to the floor and that side of the door is non functional. The spring seems to have no use in the set up. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Trudaddy

Paul from SWISCO responded:

Perhaps I can be of assistance. There is a small hole in your pin and you are missing a counter pin, the 21-158, to lock your top pivot pin in the door. Let us know your thoughts.
