70073 DH window Balance assembly

I have a Simonton 70073 DH window that has a broken balance assembly. I would like to replace both. I beleve they are the coil type. I have added pictures.

Hi Chris, thank you for posting,

To further review, we will need to see the pivot shoe that the coil attaches to removed from the window channel. Please provide written out dimensions of the width and thickness of the shoe along with the thickness of the coil spring. From there we can narrow down our selection to determine the best fit. Thank you!

Can you send me an example of the "shoe" and are you looking for the width of the coil metal or the thickness of the metal?

Hi Chris,

Your pivot shoe resembles either the 15-199 or 15-228. The original will need to be removed to confirm the exact dimensions. You will want to measure the width of the coil band. It should either be 3/8" thick or 1/2" thick. Once we have this information, I can confirm which is the best series to use for your window. Thank you!
