Are the door handle holes at 3 15/16?

It's tough to say. In many cases, yes. However I'm sure there are some cases where this is not true. Most of the time, it's not possible to know what handle you have based on the mortise lock. I can only say that it's true in many cases because a 3-15/16" hole spacing is so common.
