Adding keyed lock to my 82-005 sliding door handle

Home Owner from Houston, TX

Hi, what kind of locking mechanism/part do I need to add to my door handle to make it a keyed entry sliding door? Where can I find it ? I think the link below shows the same lock as mine. 82-005

Will appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Yasin

Hey, Yasin. If you have our 82-005 handle set then you can use our 82-306 keyed outside pull. These two parts are fully compatible and should allow your door to lock with a key from the outside.

Can you please check the pictures below, they show the front and back of the packet and confirm the kind of lock I need for it?

Can I only buy it online from your website?

Thanks,

Yasin

I'm afraid I cannot determine what you have from these photos. I can't confirm one way or the other.

We don't have any local stores, I'm afraid. All of our products can only be purchased from our web store.

Thanks for posting. This actually looks more like our 82-033 Handle Set. Either way, you should be able to use the 82-306 Keyed Outside Pull for this application.

Is there a video on how to install it? We're not able to correctly install it. Will appreciate it very much.

The 82-003 should just screw right to the door. What trouble are you running into when you are trying to install it?
