Adjustable Keeper

A home owner from USA says:
I bought a double mortise lock for my sliding door.

It doesn't mate with the old keeper... the spacing is wrong. It won't catch.

Is the 89-036 the correct adjustable keeper?

Thanks for posting. Sorry to hear the 89-036 didn't work out for you; judging from your photos I definitely don't think it's compatible. Your old keeper looks more like our 82-249. This is designed to work with a mortise lock like our 82-265. Let me know what you think.

First off, sorry, I misunderstood your original post. I thought you purchased the 89-036, but simply were asking if it would work. It would not be compatible with your lockset. Now, as I said, the 82-249 looks like your keeper. Take a look, go over all the information on the product page, and let me know if you agree.

Which Keeper do I need? What is the model? I would like to buy soon.
