Product Description

Replacement 2 point mortise lock with face plate. Installation holes measure 11" on centers; features an anti-slam button to prevent the double lock hooks being damaged by accidentally closing the door with them extended, the button must be depressed against the frame/strike plate/keeper for the lock to be actuated. Can withstand up to 2,000 lbs of forced entry. Actuator is centered or 3/4" offset. Locking hooks have separate adjustments for accurate door alignment. This is a genuine AmesburyTruth sliding glass door lock. Designed to work with the 82-249 keeper, sold separately

Do I need the anti-slam button?

My lock matches the 82-239 but does not have the anti-slam button. Do you have another lock without the button? Or can I drill a hole in the face-plate?

Mating Keeper/strike for 82-265?

I purchased a new 82-265 lock mechanism this week, but it doesn't engage properly on our existing door frame/strike plate/keeper. Do you sell the door frame/strike plate/keeper that matches the 82-265? If so, what is the model number and do you have it on your website? Thanks.
