I need two of thes to replace in my Alenco window. The part number stamped on it is 2740.

Alenco windows often use our Series 395 Channel Balances. Just compare the bottom nylon fitting to an undamaged balance to confirm. You'd need the S395-28 with a stamp option of 2740.
