Coil balance and shoes replacement.  The coils do not latch in place on the shoe

Thanks for posting! Your balance shoe looks like a match for the 15-177 Coil Balance Shoe. Take a look over the specifications and compare them to confirm.

This shoe is compatible with the 1/2" thick, Series 152 Coil Balance, secured to the shoe using the 33-072 screw. To determine which coil you need for your assembly, you'll need to check for any stamps markings on the metal.

If there aren't any, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of the sash and divide that number by the total number of coils in the window. Please see the tutorial below for detailed instructions.

If you cannot reuse the existing coil supports, you'll need the 15-143 Coil Bushing, 15-144 Coil Bushing Cap, and the 15-145 Coil Support Barrel. All three are used together to create the new support.
