Alpine window replacement part

Home Owner from Bellingham, WA
Need replacement for this window. It is an 1991 Alpine Vinyl Clad single hung window that does not tilt out. One of the 22" side springs is gone.

Hello,

I'm confident that we can replace your channel balance but we'll need to see the balance fully removed from the window to identify the correct replacement for you since the top and bottom nylon attachments need to match your new balances. Also, please confirm the length of the metal channel and the stamp number printed on the back of the balance. I'll associate a video to assist you with removal and installing your replacement. Thank you!

The metal part is 21" when you don't include the plastic clips. The number is 2040 and it looks like an upside down u after that. I am sending additional pictures.

Thank you for the additional photos. Have a look at our S380-21 and S385-21. Depending on the 'depth' measurement of the bottom balance shoe will determine which of the two balances would make the better match. Whichever one chosen will use a 2040 option.

I thought it was 1" but then measured from the bottom and it was 1 3/32. Can you tell which one I need?

If the measurement of your bottom balance shoe is 1-3/32", our S385-21 should work. Just have another look to confirm this is the correct balance for you.
