Alside Excalibur window counter coil size

Question

Hi,
Im looking for two counter weight coil for my Alside Excalibur double hung windows that pivot. The window weights 18 pounds. Can you point me to the part I need?

Hi there John.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Our 15-177 shoe looks like a match. This is designed to use the S152 coil springs which screw to the side of the shoe. Since the window is 18 pounds, you can use one S152-9 9-pound spring on each side of the window. This would total 18 pounds of overall support.

For new spring supports, see the 15-143 bushing, 15-144 cap, and 15-145 barrel. They "sandwich" around the coil spring.
