Alside series 0901 double hung

Home Owner from Voorheesville, NY
These parts are from a 901 series double hung window sash.  The length of the pivot pin is 2 3/4" and is currently held in by 1 screw.  The sash weighs 20 lbs and there are two coils per side.  I was not able to identify part numbers on the coils.  What are the recommended replacement parts to put my windows in working order.  Is it recommended to replace the springs when replacing the balance shoe?

Thanks for reaching out to us! Your pivot shoe appears to match the 15-177. We don't have an exact match for the pivot bar but take a look at the 26-030, 26-226, and 26-352. Review the specifications and see if one of them matches what you're searching for.

When it comes to coil balance assemblies, you can replace what's broken and reuse the old parts if they're in good shape. So if the coil springs aren't broken, you can reuse them with the 15-177 pivot shoe as long as they screw to the side of the shoe like ours.

If you'd like to replace the coil springs, you can use two S152-5 5-pound springs on each side of the window, for a total of 20 pounds of overall support.

Please let me know if you have any questions!
