Andersen awning window - track issues

Handy Person from Wading River NY
Greetings! I have 4 old Andersen crank out windows and several have corroded at the upper left and right corners where the window slides along the track, to the point where the top of the window drops out of the casement (see 4th photo)

Also, installing four new rods for the control arms to slide on (2nd photo) would also help.

I have been using white lithium grease to keep the parts moving, but the corroded/broken upper tracks are the primary problem, but let me know what you recommend.

Thank you!
Steve.

He Steve, thank you for posting,

Does your operator have a second arm? I believe you are showing the 39-389 or the 39-390 operator. If so, unfortunately the track is not available separately, only with the operator.

For a new hinge, please start by reviewing the 36-048 2-bar hinge that has a 10" sill track. Both hinges would need to replaced at the same time. Compare the dimensions to see what you think!

We also carry a stainless steel version under 36-004-10. Let us know if you have any questions.

Did ordering the 36-048 2-bar hinge that has a 10" sill track? Did that work with that window?
