I'd like to replace an Andersen rotolock short arm operator for an awning window. I see that you offer an Awning Operator Kit, Short Arm (Product Code: 39-390) however, the connection to the rod on the glass frame seems different as it doesn't appear to connect with the same operator shoe. Mine uses this connection: Roto-Lock Operator Shoe Pair (Product Code: 36-030)
If I get the 39-390, it appears I will have to also replace the rod that the arms connect to. Is that right? And since the operator is sandwiched by the wood trim, will that match up?
I did find the exact Andersen part I need at another vendor (pic attached), but it is over $300. (Yikes!)
The only problem with the current operator is the part the crank handle attaches to is stripped out and unusable. I'm willing to take it apart and replace a part in there if that's possible. Any advice you can give is appreciated.
Thanks - CJ
