Anti-slam button

Question

Having a hard time getting the antislam button to push in far enough so the locks can be engaged . Replaced lock on Atrium patio door with your 82-265 . Tried several different things and it's not working. Suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out! There could be a few different factors contributing to the anti-slam button's improper function. To determine what might be causing the issue, I'll need to see a photo of the lock installed in the sliding door, as well as the compatible keeper/strike installed on the frame of the door.

If you still have the original hardware, it may help to see a photo of it in addition to the other photos.
