Apparently not the series 385 I ordered.

28"C USB markings. Needs to have a flat shoe facing the window channel. 385 was to bulbous and would not allow the window to seat in the bottom track in order to lock. Pictures on website are not clear as to amount of width of shoe. Please review and advise as to correct model.

Thanks for posting. Sorry to hear the Series 385 did not work out for you. The depth of the Series 385 nylon shoe is mentioned on its product page to be 1-3/32". The difference between the Series 380 and Series 385 is very small, a matter of 1" vs 1/32". This is why it is vital to measure the the depth of your old balance's nylon shoe to see which it matches best. If you need help identifying your balance, remove it from the window and take pictures of each end attachment, and we'd be happy to help you with this.

I thought this was an S380 or 385, but the shoe does not look like the images associated on the website. This one has 22D USB stamped on it. I also have to replace 28" of the same style.

Looking at your bottom balance shoe, we believe the depth is 1". If I'm right then you want to use our S380-23 with a 2240 stamp option.

As for the other balance, you mention that it has a 28C stamp. If so, then it should be 29" long, not 28". Can you confirm?

Yes it is 29 inches.

Great, then that'd be our S380-29 with a 2830 stamp. Let me know if you have any questions.

The depth of this shoe is only 7/8ths and it is flatter than the on in the pictures on your website.

Ah, I see. Thank you for clarifying. In that case your balances will have to be custom made using our 15-029, which is 7/8" deep. Don't worry about the overall shape; while shape is often important, there is no difference in yours that would make ours incompatible. In this instance, size is more important.

Can you just tell me how many of each balance you need? Once I know that, I'll have my colleague Tom email you two custom order links and price quotes for the requested quantities.
