Arcadia Sliding Glass Door handle with a broken lock

Home Owner from Tucson Arizona

I recently had the rollers replaced on one of my sliding glass doors (opens to the right) but the repairman accidentally broke the plastic piece that moves the lock into place so I need to replace that plastic piece or the lock mechanism inside the handle. The house was built in 1960 and the doors are original to the house. I have attached a picture of the lock mechanism. The measurements of the inside silver lock mechanism are: H: 3 4/16"; W: 1"; D: 7/16".

If this exact part isn't available, is there a replacement lock mechanism or handle with a lock that can be used instead?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

I would start by looking at our 82-225. Carefully compare our dimensions to yours to confirm if this can work. I fear it won't, though. If not, then you will need a new handle set. See our 82-005.
