Arcadia sliding glass patio door locking hardware/handle mechanism

Hi,
I have an Arcadia sliding glass door that the lever broke off and I can't unlock/lock the door. I believe it was installed in the 1970's in our house in Carmel, California. I need to know the part number to replace it.

We can't just replace the lever. You will need to replace the handle set. You may want to consider the 82-005. Look it over and let us know if you have any questions.

I will purchase your suggested handle set (82-005). However, the screws to remove the broken handle set are not on the handle but are on the door end which is stuck in the locked door jam/door frame. Any suggestions as to how to remove the locked door from the frame in order to install new hardware?

I'm afraid there's no easy solution to that. If the door is stuck while locked closed, then your only option would be to cut it out, which is difficult. I highly recommend the help of a local professional.
