Arm operator concern

Quick Learner
Per my contacting your customer service regarding the two window handles received and the one that is an incorrect fit, I was advised to send comparable photos of our current closer with the one that was sent. Attached are the pictures and order info. The two operators were for the same window unit...one fit and the other does not. Thank you for your attention to this...look forward to your response.

Hello!

I see you ordered the 39-031 and 39-032 but we also have the 39-155 and 39-156 operators. These two pairs of operators look similar but each has a different size of link arm. The 39-031/39-032 has a 4-7/16" long link arm, while the 39-155/39-156 has a 3-13/16" long link arm. Review the dimensions for our 39-155 and 39-156 and compare them with your old assembly to see if these are a better match for what you need. If you need a compatible handle, see our 39-114L or 39-205 depending on the style you prefer.

Handy Person

Attached are new photos showing superimposed one over the other. As you can see, the arms are both the same length. The problem is the long arm is offset from the original long arm when the small arms are aligned. Either there is an arm to replace the original with the correct angles or one of the arms was not properly aligned when pressed on to the gears. Will wait for your response. Thank you.

Oh, I think I see what you mean now. The 39-031 & 39-032 operators have a downward offset, while your original appears to have an upward offset. So long as the dimensions match up, our operators should still work for you. Just note, you may need to manipulate the shorter link arm to attach it to the bracket since the offset is different.
