Awning Operator

Home Owner from Perrysburg
Im looking for a standard Thomson awning window operator replacement. There is 3 screws to hold the operator done, 5-3/4" between the 2 outside holes. There are 2 arms about 18". The arms connect to a sliding track on the window

Your operator is a Thompson operator from back in the 50's that was commonly used on Andersen awning windows. This hasn't been made for a long, long time, and there are no known working substitutes. That said, take a look at our 39-389 Andersen operator kit to see if you can adapt this to your window. There is no guarantee it will work, but we don't have anything closer. Another idea is our 39-015, which was made by Truth hardware. This could possibly work as a substitute, as well, but again I can't be sure. In either case, you will likely need to make up a new wood sill cover to accommodate the different style base. Take a look at the parts I mentioned and see what you think.
