I need to replace three awning window cranks from the 1950s that have handles with stripped posts. The windows are single sashes, opening outward and made of wood. Sadly, the posts in the handles are not removable and the cranks are also stripped inside because they barely operate using an allen wrench. The cranks are double arm with a span of 36 inches. Please see the photos below.
Is this enough for you to identify the cranks? I don't care if the windows with the new cranks don't open as far as they currently do.
(I haven't removed the window trim to show the whole mechanism because I'd like to have the replacements on-hand first!)
Thank you,
M.

Certainly, these operators use the 39-286 handle. |
