Balace Coil for my Window

Question

They are both 1/2" coils that (by eyeballing it) look the same.  I do not know what weight to choose.  The top coil has CL stamped on it and the bottom coil has B stamped on it

Hello,

Your photo actually shows the back of your hardware, which makes it a bit more difficult to identify but I would bet that you have our 15-177 pivot shoe that supports our 1/2" wide S152 coil springs.

If this is what you have but they don't have any numbers stamped on them to indicate the strength, you'll need to weigh your window sash and divide the weight by the number of coils in your window. If you have two coils on each side, then you'll divide the weight of the sash by four to choose the coirrect strength option. Thank you!
