Hello. I am trying to replace the balance mechanisms on what I believe are Jeld-wen single hung windows. There are 4 windows, so I need 8 mechanisms. The existing mechanism (metal channel only) measures 26 5/8 inches. I believe it is type A.
There is stamp on the mechanism; 26 4, b.s.i, PL
I also need to purchase the metal “take out clips” that go on the window frame. Here are some pictures to help with identifying.

We can supply this balance, but only as a custom order due to its configuration. However, there's one important detail about this balance that we have to go over before we proceed.
To summarize, your exact model isn't made anymore. It was discontinued last year and our stock has since sold out. The good news is that they make a new model that works in all the same applications without issue. But the way it's calibrated is different, and as a result we have to basically calibrate any replacements from scratch.
To that end, kindly tell me the exact weight of the sash down to the ounce. That will allow us to determine the proper calibration for the replacements.
Regarding the take out clips, we'll need a photo of one of the originals. This balance is compatible with a couple designs.

Thank you so much and sorry for the delayed response. Its been a busy week. The sash weighs 25 lbs 6.4 ounces. There are 3 at this weight. We are going to skip the fourth window for now, so I will only need the 3 sets for the above mentioned weight. I am including a picture of the take out clip... it looks like they have been smushed flat. I will also need 3 sets of those. Please let me know what the cost will be for all of this and lets hopefully get that ordered soon.

Thank you! I appreciate it. The good news is that we can stick with the same stamp calibration; this would be 2640 on the new model, which carries 19 through 26 pounds. I'll go ahead and email you a purchase link and price quote for 6 balances altogether. That will let you add them to your cart.
Regarding the take out clip, that's a dead ringer for our 16-002. This is a stock item that you can add to your cart directly from our catalog. Don't forget to do that before you checkout, as it won't be included with the custom balance link I'm about to send you.
One last note: an order of 6 balances qualifies you for a bulk quantity discount. Just something to keep in mind if you place orders for this same balance in the future. If you buy fewer, they may be more expensive.
