Balance coil help

Question

Trying to replace the balance coils on a double hung window and can't seem to find the right ones. This is a double coil with 5k stamped on both coils. I'm looking to replace the coils and the "shoe", I think that's what it is called. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

Hey there,

Thanks for contacting us! This coil assembly is assembled with the 15-177 Coil Balance Shoe (you were correct) and the Series 152 Coil Balance springs. Since yours are stamped with a 5, you'll need the S152-5. These coils are attached to the shoe using the 33-072 screw.

If you need to replace the covers along with the coils and the shoes, you'll need the 15-143 Coil Bushing, 15-144 Coil Bushing Cap, and the 15-145 Coil Barrel Support.
