Balance identification

Question

I ordered series 800 balances . The attachments looked right but the balances are too thin to stay in my window. Can you tell me which balance I need? Some are stamped 2840 and some are 1640.

I am sorry to hear that you ordered the incorrect balances. Let's see if we can help you to prevent another return from happening. If your bottom balance shoe's depth is 1-1/8", you will want to consider our S390-17 channel balance with a 1640 option along with our S390-29 with a 2840 option. For advisement on top sash guide replacements, send us over photos along with measurements and we will go from there.
