Balance identification

Question

Hi, I'm trying to revive 13 single hung vinyl windows in my 20-year old home. Most of the balances have become brittle and several have failed.  I cannot find a manufacturer anywhere on the windows. They are triple coil balances with a "4" stamped on them. They are 1 1/4 inches wide and 4 3/4 tall.  Can you point me to the right product on your website?  Thanks!

Thanks for your post! Your coil support reminds me of the 15-205 3/8" Egress Coil Triple Support. It is compatible with the Series 165 Egress Coil Balance. Since yours are stamped with a 4, you'll need the S165-4. While I am confident these are the replacements you'll need, it would be a good idea to double check that your coils are 3/8" wide.

If you are also looking to replace the compatible pivot shoe, I'll need to see a clear photo of the front of the shoe.
