re: 28" Series 795 Channel Balance 1. is the cord attached already? 2. How do I remove the bottom pivot shoe from my existing window? Is there a screw? Does it just pop out? Twist and turn? Thanks.

Hello! Yes, these balances come fully assembled and ready to install out of the box. As for removing the shoe, you were right on the third point. Once the sash is removed, tilt the balance in, twist, and pull it out.
