Balance rod Collins
Thanks for writing in! I apologize for the delay in response. We answer these inquiries in the order that we receive them, even if a second message was sent. I say this because I do not want you to feel as though your inquiry was ignored. We do receive a great number of them, especially during the late spring/summer season, so that is the reason for the delay.
Your balances appear to be the discontinued crossbow style balance. These have been converted to use our Series 795 Channel Balances.
To confirm that these balances will be a situatable replacement, you'll need to find and remove an undamaged balance from a window so that you can get the accurate measurements from the balance. These include the length of an undamaged balance, the diameter of the balance channel/tube (which should be 1/2"), as well as the width of the bottom T-shaped attachment. You will also need to obtain the exact weight of the window to select the correct stamp option.
You'll also want to confirm the width of your bottom shoe. It will either be 1" or 1-1/4" across the bottom of the T shape.
Take a look at the video below for instructions on this balance conversion and the information you'll need to determine the correct balances. Let me know if you have any questions.
