Balance shoe help

Hi

I need to replace a balance shoe for my vertical sliding window. But I don't know the manufacturer of the window.

Though I found a label on the side of the window frame.

Please attached photos of the label as well as the broken balance shoe.

Hey Alex. This exact pivot shoe is no longer made, but our 15-177 is a similar design and should be able to replace it. This shoe interfaces with Series 152 Coil Balances. Let me know if you have further questions.

This coil balance assembly is modular, so you only have to replace what's broken. Check the coil tape that attached to the old shoe. If it's unbroken, then you may be able to reuse it--but if it's torn or worn in any way, it would be best to get new Series 152 coil springs. For replacement coil springs, you need to choose a spring weight for each. The spring weight designates the weight each individual coil can support. There should be a stamp somewhere on each of the old springs that indicates this--but if there is none or you're unsure, please weigh the window sash that these balances support. Give me that exact weight and I can work out the spring weights needed.
