Balance spring replacement

Question

I have multiple Jeld-Wen windows that were installed in my house in 2000 and need the balance spring systems replaced in most of them. the problem is there is no identifiers to tell what the proper replacement parts would be. I contacted Jeld-Wen and they provided your contact information stating your company could help.

Hi Andrew, thanks for writing in. So what you have here is an old kind of balance called a crossbow balance. These are no longer made, but you can replace them with our Series 795 Channel Balances. See the video below for details.
