Balance stuck in aluminum Track

A home owner from ashland, oregon says:
I ordered the 15-015 balance block for my aluminum track windows based on the color (blue). They don't fit so I have now ordered four 15-046 (beige).

The 15-015 could be forced into place with a rubber mallet but is too tight to move up or down. I will need to break it out with pliers or screwdriver. I do not want to use the spreader on aluminum track.

Do you have any advice for how else I might approach the problem?

Paul from SWISCO responded:
It sounds like the 15-015 pivot shoe is in the "locked" position. Place a screwdriver in the cam and turn it towards you. That should unlock it and allow it to slide up and down in the track.
A home owner from ashland oregon says:
Thank you for this information. I have tried it in both locked and unlocked position to no avail.

In that case, I'm not sure what else you could do. Could you take a few pictures of the shoe stuck in the track? Maybe if we see it, we can think of something.
