Balance system of a single hung window manufactured by MI window around 1996

Question

My single hung window's balance system was broken. The window was manufactured by MI window around 1996. Please help identifying the part number and what part can be used to replace it. Thanks.

Thanks for posting! We do not have an exact replacement for the shoe you have but our 15-180 Coil Balance Shoe has a similar shape and should work well to replace it. Carefully compare the dimensions to confirm it will be a fit for your repairs.

The compatible coil spring is the Series 190 Coil Balance, secured to the shoe using the 33-073 screw. The 15-181 Double Support Detent Clip is used to anchor the coils in the window. The 26-040 is suggested to replace the pivot bar.
