Balance top channel search

A home owner from Massachusetts says:
I have aluminum non-tilt hung windows in my condo. The balance top and the top sash guide are most unusual. I don't see them on your website. Can you find them?

Hello,

The top balance fitting was our 19-017, which has since been discontinued. You might be able to use the 19-002 top fitting with 15-001 bottom balance shoe to make the S390-26 with a spring tension of 2530. If he needs the top sash guide, he could try 18-065. You might have to drill a hole for the sash screw but be sure not to hit the glass. Thank you!

Paul,

thank you for your quick reply!

I am going to replace these old balance fittings with what you recommend.

Would the 16-002 take out clip fit this solution?

Thanks.

Typically, that's the one you want, yes. You may want to check the style of the original just to be sure. There are uncommon take out clips out there that aren't the same but work with similar balances.
