Thanks for your post! The shoe you have is the 15-111 Pivot Shoe. These are compatible coil spring is the 1/2" wide Series 160. The one marked with the #5.5 can be replaced with the S160-05 but you'll need to check the stamp on the others to confirm it is the same.

The plastic piece is the 15-150D Coil Double Support.

I am concerned that the replacement doesn't have enough travel, especially when the original was 64" long. Is some other modification needed too?

You will need to adjust the position of the assemblies in the track, which may require drilling a new hole. These have a maximum travel length of 35".

Unfortunately, the springs with the longer travel length are no longer made.
