Balancer bar for Stanley Tilt Out

Friend from Bloomington IN
I have a broken balancer bar for a Stanley tilt out window. It look like one of the rivot pieces broke out as well as plastic clip at the top. Stamp on the bar says 26-5. I am not sure what bar to get to replace this

Hey there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. We're happy to help, but we can't ID your hardware from these photos. We'd need to see photos of a complete and undamaged balance assembly removed from the window. Seeing the top and bottom ends of the balance, as well as the clip attached to the end of the pulley cord, would also be helpful.

Thank you kindly! This is a match for the Series 795 channel balance, which comes attached with the 1-1/4" wide 15-195 closed cam. You'll want to remove the old shoe to make sure it matches up. If you note any discrepancies, please let us know.

To determine the length of the replacements, you'll have to measure only the metal channel. Your old 26-5 stamp doesn't match up with our stamp options, so you must also weigh the window sash on a scale to figure out the appropriate stamp. There's a weight chart under the product description on the S795-27 and S795-26 store pages that you can use as a reference.

Note that the Series 795 is designed to mount to the top of the window track. However, please let us know if your balance uses a hook, as that would require a custom order.
