Hello!

We appreciate you reaching out to us. Our Series 795 appears to match what you have here. However, please note that this comes with the 15-195 closed cam shoe by default. Your old shoe has an open cam which means you will need to purchase the 15-195B separately and swap them when you receive your order. The video below will demonstrate how to do so, it's really easy!

There should also be a stamp on the metal channel that will indicate what spring strength option you'll need for your replacements.

Hello! Emily isn't here today, but I'd be happy to advise regarding this stamp.

Like my colleague described, the Series 795 channel balance will work perfectly fine, as long as you're willing to swap the shoe out for the 15-195B open cam style (sold separately). Your stamp indicates how strong the spring is, but in your case it's a little outdated.

Your first step should be to confirm the length of the metal channel (not including the fittings). Based on your stamp it should be 21". Assuming I'm right, then you should be able to use the 21E stamp option. I believe this is the modern equivalent of your old 20-5. Two balances with the 21E stamp can carry sashes weighing 22 through 26 pounds.

You should absolutely weigh your sash to verify that this is accurate, too. It's a little more work now but it will allow you to place an order with peace of mind. The last thing you want is to end up getting the wrong size and calibration only to have to return it.
