Awning Window Operator

A quick learner from Medford ma says:
Can you tell me what part I need for this window? The part where the rod attaches to the bar on the window is missing. I don't know the manufacturer. Thank you

Can you show us clearer pictures of the end of the link arm(s), as well as the base of the operator itself? From there, we'll do our best to find what you need. Thanks.

Bob-sorry. Hopefully these are better. thanks

Hey there. We do not carry the bar by itself, but I believe you have an Anderson operator. Take a look at the 39-389 long arm and the 39-390 short arm operator. See if you can install this newer styles to your window.

A quick learner from Medford ma says:
hello- I believe what I need is the anderson operator shoe part 39-281. I have 2 questions.

1. how does that metal cap hold on to the bolt sticking up from the arm?
2. Since I need two of them, it would cost me 21.94 plus 7.35 shipping. If this is not the right part, will you take back including shipping?

Thanks

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Thanks for your post. That metal cap is actually a rivet used to attach the shoe to the operator arm. You have to drill out the old rivet on the arm first. Then, find a small solid piece of metal--or something hard--that is about 1" thick to lay the operator arm upon. Then, assembly the nylon bracket and rivet to the arm, then place the assembly onto the metal piece. Use a hammer to whack the rivet so that it spreads out.
