The top part is not staying in the guide, enclosed is a pic of the area what do I need. Older door.

Hi there!
It sounds like your bifold door pin might be the culprit. This is a common part that usually needs to be replaced at some point. Could you remove your metal bifold door pin and show us? We'll need to know the diameter of the pin and the pin cap as well.
