Hello! It looks like you have an old rod type balance. These aren't made anymore, but the good news is that you can use our modern Series 795 channel balance as an alternative. The video I'll share below will outline exactly what you have to do to use our product in your window, step by step.

Before you buy anything, you may want to first measure the diameter of the spring to verify that it's 1/2". If it is then you have no worries, but if it's smaller than the Series 795 won't work. Come back to me if that's the case and we can work from there.
